Scope/Description
Phase 1: removal of concrete immediately under and adjacent to the Statue of Babe the Blue Ox. The statue was raised approximately 15” by means of raising the foundation. The concrete immediately adjacent to Babe was poured to the proposed grade leaving a drop when Phase 1 was completed for better drainage. Phase II commenced immediately upon completion of Phase 1 to ensure Phase 1 work was protected and that park users could safely utilize the area outside the barricades and fencing.
